2025 Year-End Wrap

November 19, 2025

Event Overview

The Association for the Chronically Mentally Ill (ACMI) is proud to honor an outstanding behavioral health leader at our annual year-end celebration. This recognition is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional innovation, leadership, and dedication in serving those with the most serious mental illnesses. Their work reflects a deep commitment to improving lives, advancing care, and creating lasting change for one of our community’s most vulnerable populations.

Steven Scott is the CEO of College Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, a role he has held since 2024. He has been involved in providing behavioral health services in Arizona since 1988. In his current capacity, he has been engaged in efforts to reopen and manage behavioral health operations—such as oversight of HVAC and chiller repairs—at the facility formerly known as St. Luke’s Behavioral Health Center in Phoenix.

Steven’s background includes extensive executive experience in healthcare operations across Level 1 hospitals, the Regional Behavioral Health Authority (Magellan), and crisis facilities (UPC) in the Phoenix area.
