On the first Tuesday of each month, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. Arizona time (except on holiday weekends), ACMI hosts a featured guest for a timely conversation on behavioral health. Following the presentation, attendees will discuss current issues in the behavioral health system. We are pleased to have CEO John Wake, COO Danelle Trottier, & Outpatient ED Meredith Doyle to discuss Axiom Care. They will share the programs and services provided by Axiom Care, Dedicated to transforming lives. Axiom Care serves financially vulnerable and justice-involved individuals, creating a pathway to a brighter future.
Our speakers:
John Wake is Axiom Care’s Chief Executive Officer and has been with the company since 2020. He previously served as Director of Human Resources for a large multi-state recovery and treatment entity. He has more than 10 years of experience in the substance use treatment field and is passionate about improving the effectiveness and accessibility of treatment in Arizona. His personal recovery journey inspires his drive to ensure every Arizonan has access to compassionate, effective, trustworthy treatment in their time of need, especially the most vulnerable. With his extensive human resources background, John’s people-first management style is a guiding force in his role as CEO. Since February 2024, John has served on the City of Phoenix Community Mental Health Wellness, Public Health, and Safety Task Force. An Arizona native, John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University.
Danelle Trottier joined Axiom Care in March 2024, bringing more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health and addiction services management to her role as Chief Operating Officer. Danelle previously served as Senior Director of Operations for Native American Connections, where she was instrumental in developing and licensing the Patina Wellness Center and Patina Mountain Preserve, showcasing her expertise in managing culturally sensitive and impactful healthcare operations. She has a proven track record of enhancing healthcare services.Prior to NAC, she served as Program Director for Mountain Health and Wellness and Clinical Coordinator at Southwest Network, focusing on services for individuals with Serious Mental Illness. Her earlier roles include Clinical Liaison at Magellan Health and Social Work Designee at Presentation Medical Center. A recognized healthcare leader with a proven track record of enhancing healthcare services, Danelle previously served on the board of directors for Head Start, contributing to policy development. At Axiom Care, she is focused on driving operational excellence and strategic growth, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services aligned with Axiom Care’s commitment to community service. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Minot State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Meredith Doyle (Executive Director, Outpatient Services) joined Axiom Care in October 2025 with more than 17 years of healthcare and housing experience, multi-level management, leadership, assessment, therapy, clinical proficiencies, project management, data, program implementation, and recovery-focused direct care. Prior to Axiom Care, she served in a variety of leadership positions with Horizon Health and Wellness, most recently as Clinical Program Director overseeing the organization’s Community Living Program, Affordable Housing Program, Permanent Supportive Housing Program, Housing to Health Opportunities (H2O) Program, Substance Use Residential Treatment Program, and Pinal County ACT Team. Prior positions included serving as the organization’s Director of Operations and Statewide Director of SMI Services and Housing. Meredith previously served as SMI Clinical Director and Regional Program Manager of Community Living for Lifewell Behavioral Wellness, a Terros Health Company. Clinical Coordinator of Partners in Recovery, LLC, and as Interagency Liaison for Magellan Health Services of Arizona. She is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), certified in National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE) and in Housing Quality Standards with the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) and Housing and Urban Development Inspections (HQS Inspections). She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Pinal County Local Coalition to End Homelessness. Meredith earned a Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Northern Arizona University, and an MBA from Western Governors University.
