Barbara’s interest in nutrition and its impact on prevention of disease led her to return to school for a degree in nutrition and dietetics. She provided nutrition education and services to residents of group homes and day programs for developmentally disabled adults and staff.
Barbara’s leisure activities include spending time with her family, hiking, practicing yoga, and reading. She also volunteers at her place of worship and sings in its choir.
